「anatomyEXPERT」には以下のような解説が見られる。

「This is the deep notch between the two condyles. Its lateral wall has a smooth shallow surface serving as the proximal attachment site for the anterior cruciate ligament. Its medial wall contains the femoral attachment site of the posterior cruciate ligament. Like most ligament and tendon attachment sites these surfaces are lacking nutrient foramina.」

 

　この部位の閲覧には会員登録が必要です。上の3つのイラストで一番左のものは赤で顆間窩の範囲を表したものである。これは「Bones and Bone Markings」というサイトに掲載されている写真を参考にしている。そのサイトでは文章による解説が見当たらないので、顆間窩の範囲が今一つ理解できていない部分がある。

　疑問：顆間窩に内・外側顆の後方に突出した部分の内側面や外側面も含めるのだろうか？
