【概 要】
・髄質集合管とは、集合管のうち腎髄質にある部分で、皮質集合管に続き、外側部と内側部に分けられる。内側部は髄質のより深部に達し、乳頭管に続く。
・腎錐体の中を腎乳頭に向かって走り、合流しながら太くなる。腎髄質の内帯は集合管と細い尿細管に富む（船戸和弥のHP）。
・上皮は単層立方上皮で、細胞質は淡く、細胞どうしの境界がはっきりしている。
・水の再吸収はバソプレシン（抗利尿ホルモン）の作用で変化し、ナトリウム・カリウム・水素イオン・重炭酸の出し入れも行う。尿素が管から受動的に出ることで、髄質の浸透圧勾配の形成に関わる。
・ここで濃縮された尿は乳頭管から小腎杯へ送られる。

Medullary collecting ducts are divided into outer and inner segments, the latter reaching more deeply into the medulla.
